About

Behind the blog

Hi, welcome to Eriponderful World. You might be wondering if this is an Ikuta Erina fan site... Well, yes but no (lol).

Initially, this blog was made for the purpose of sharing info about ordering idol goods and/or participating in online events which I (the owner) usually shared on Twitter. I like helping people out in any way I can, so that's what I've been doing a lot the latest years.

Next to that I also often used to share translations from Ikuta Erina related content, which I've been enjoying more and more lately.

I'd definitely like to continue sharing both these things, but in a way that's friendlier and easier to access. Twitter can be a big mess and tweets get lost over time. So keeping on doing all of that on there wasn't a good idea for the long run.

So globally, that's what this blog is for!

What can you find on here?

Different sorts of stuff! I can't exactly give specified content you can look for, since I don't entirely know myself what the future will bring. I'll just post whatever I think is good to share, whatever I want to share with you guys. Anything that can be helpful; it's not really a personal blog so most of of it is often going to be resourceful!

A few of the current things I have planned on posting on here...

  • Order guides: ordering Jpop goodies generally can be difficult, barely any website for specific goods ships overseas. So I try to explain in helpful guides how you can still obtain what you need. I will of course focus it largely on what I collect, but I'm always open to suggestions for more guides if asked!
  • Online event information: online events weren't much of a thing before (especially within J-pop), but they surely have been since the spread of covid. Events happening online always means there must be one way or another us foreign fans can join.. So I try to post general order guides and (if lots of demand) general info for these as clear and as soon as I can.
  • Translations: my level of Japanese isn't superb yet (currently studying) but I always have fun translating articles. I do so using translators and my personal knowledge, hoping the mix of both gives a decent and good result. I'm still learning myself, so always take this in consideration. I likely won't post what I'm not confident/sure about, so the translations should be trustable to some point.
  • And who knows what the future brings...

As said the type of content might change over time, but I hope you sort of got an idea what to find on here now.

If you ever have any type of questions and/or suggestions, don't hesitate to contact me!
